Merging invisible layer deletes its contents

When using Merge Down with an invisible layer, the contents of the invisible layer will be gone after the merge. This will happen regardless of the invisible layer's position relative to the visible layer. This also happens if both layers are invisible, i.e., both layers' contents are erased and you end up with an empty layer. I'm on iPad OS, Fresco version 6.7.0.

Would love to know that someone from Adobe has seen this and if someone else in the community has been able to reproduce the bug.
