Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with a frustrating issue I'm having with Adobe Fresco. I've been using the app for a while now without any problems, but recently, it's been getting stuck on "loading documents" whenever I try to open.

Screenshot 2023-12-27 103241.png

I've tried everything I can think of to fix the problem, including:

  • Clearing the app cache
  • Reinstalling Fresco
  • Repairing the installation
  • Restarting my computer

Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, were you able to fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I managed to resolve the "Loading Documents" issue in Fresco! I'm not entirely sure, but enabling the Out-update option in Preferences seems to have resolved the issue. I wanted to share this in case it might be helpful to you too!

Hello el haris,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulty with Adobe Fresco getting stuck on "Loading Documents." Let's try a few more troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

  • Ensure that you have a stable and active internet connection. Sometimes, connectivity issues can cause trouble loading documents.

  • Sign out of your Adobe account within Fresco and then sign back in. This can sometimes refresh the connection and resolve loading issues. At the login screen, try logging in with your Google account. This might provide an alternative login method and could help resolve the loading problem.

  • Ensure that both Adobe Fresco and your operating system are up to date. Check for updates in the app store or the Creative Cloud desktop app.

After trying these steps, let me know if the issue persists or if you observe any changes. If the problem continues, please provide additional details about your system and what happens when Fresco displays loading documents. Does it crash or start "not responding" after that?

Once I have more information, I'll do my best to assist you.

Best,

Anshul Saini

Hi Anshul

Tried all your suggestions (Internet connection, logins, updates), but still gets stuck on "Loading Documents." It doesn't crash, but it keeps loading indefinitely.

here is my additional details about my system:

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Home
  • Version: 23H2
  • OS Build: 22631.2861
  • Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1115G4 @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz RAM: 8.00 GB (7.70 GB usable)
  • Fresco version:  5.0.1

I really appreciate your time and help in resolving this issue.

Thank you!

Good luck. I gave Adobe Tech Support remote access to my laptop. After hours of them clicking around trying to fix this same problem, I am still unable to use Fresco. I don't think they want to fix it as they are gonna eventually phase out this program. It's really annoying to be paying for a subscription at all, and then to be unable to use the apps we pay for, do better Adobe.

I tried everything and couldn't get passed the loading documents thing. I fixed it this morning though!! I was just bored and playing around on my pc and decided to clean up my files and folders. I switched from cybersecurity to graphic design in college so I decided to delete my virtual hard disks and free to space. Here are my steps to fix the issue:

1. Go to search and type Turn Windows Features On or Off

2. Uncheck the Hyper-V box

3. Uncheck the box that says Windows Hypervisor Platform

4. Restart your pc and load Fresco.

I read up on Hypervisor after it worked and apparently some programs don't like to work when this is on as it uses more RAM and as we all know Adobe programs are resource hogs! Good luck I hope this helps others out there experiencing this issue.

I might also suggest, right-clicking the app and resetting it in the App settings worked for me. A real hassle though.
