Hi
I must have missed something, but I can't figure out how to transform a single vector object, and not the whole layer?? I don't want to draw a selection a around the object, because I'll end up with other close objects in the select. I just want to select one part of a vector layer, and transform/move that. Is that really not possible??

I'm sorry to say, Fresco doesn't have any tools for directly selecting individual vector paths. You would have to import the document into Illustrator to have that capability.
Within Fresco, you can only use the lasso tool as you previously described.
