unable to select layers in fresco

hi, i really wanna use fresco but i am unable to select layers at all, i have'nt done anything in the project, just opened it and it doesnt let me use the layers, only make a new one on top of the first one. someone else that has fresco on their tablet has told me they have the same problem on the computer, but the tablet works fine with fresco. does anyone know what  i can do? thanks

Sometimes I find if you do a delete on the app and reinstall it it fixes the issues as well.
