Adobe Creative Cloud CC Yosemite 10.10 Fix

I stumbled upon what I believe to be a fix for Adobe Creative Cloud not working on Mac OS X Yosemite.  It looks like we need to update Java to 7 60.  You cannot do a fresh install of Java 7 version 60, you must update from Settings -> Java -> Update.  From there, I restarted and noticed Creative Cloud was now working.  I've tried this solution on two machines with Yosemite, upgrade and fresh install.  @adobe ; @11011584 ; Creative Cloud Download & Install

Good luck all!

Justin

If you restart in Safe Mode (by holding down Shift as it reboots) you should be able to run CC and install any available updates. This has been the only reliable way of updating for me and although it's like working in treacle in Safe Mode and you have to manually find and launch CC from your apps folder, it has always worked. Once you've run all the installers reboot normally and Bob's your whatsit

I am trialling Adobe CC PS and LR.  The Tool gallery icon and the text of the Menu Bar are too small to be usable and Adobe has, so far, been unable to show me how to enlarge both,

The recommended method via Preferences/Interface does not enlarge the Tool icons and only the dropdown menu items, not the Menu Bar itself.  Further the UI Scaling option is greyed-out and thus unusable.

My platform is iMac desktop + Yosemite 10.10.4 +LCD 1900 x 1080 monitor all fully updated.

If I can't fix the problem then I will not be able to subscribe to Adobe CC.

Thanks for any help you can give.

They couldn't fix the icon/menu text size so I didn't subscribe to CC.  I tried again with the latest OSX El Capitan- still didn't work. Pity!

I'm trying to print photos with an Epson Stylus Pro 4900 with PSCC installed on a Retina iMac running the latest update of Yosemite, 1010.3. Despite every effort the printer won't launch. I hit "print" and nothing happens. "Print" is then greyed out. There is no print queue. The printer will print with Lightroom. It will print with "Preview." It will print with PSCS5.1.

Epson says it is not their driver, I have the latest v.9.33. I have the lates

When I print through Lightroom and Preview the photos look a bit washed out so I'd like to see what I can make happen in Photoshop.

Have been beside myself re-installing CC on iMac+Retina Yosemite, cannot get LR to start-up after flagging the usual "module" issue. Surprisingly, a standalone LR 5.7.1 installed on a MacBook Pro Retina using the same Yosemite version sails along flawlessly. I believe Adobe owes it to fix the gap, given that one version of LR 5.7.1 works and another doesn't. On the CC version, have no (until now) issues with Bridge and Photoshop CC. Any estimates when I can get my desktop working, because a Laptop isn't the best option for me.

I had the same problem. DW crashed time and time again each time I tried to launch it. After reading all the posts here I decided to just run disk utility and repair permissions. After running repair permissions, I restarted DW again and this time it launched with no problems. I am running DW cc2014.1 on the latest Yosemite OS. I hope this helps some of you.

Try contacting Adobe support through their chat function. The first time I did this they weren't much help but the second time they solved my problem most immediately. I wish you luck.

Yes CC launches except illustrator

Have you tried re-installing illustrator through Creative Cloud? I believe my problem was different, as Creative Cloud would launch, but Photoshop and Lightroom WOULD launch.
