Adobe Customer Support Portal or even logging in

New Here ,

I am trying to log into the Adobe Membership area and then go to the Adobe Customer Support Portal so I can register my details to retrieve my serial number. The page will not load. I was on line to Adobe chat and they suggested to use a different browser. I cannot get IE to work on my PC (I don't know why?) so am using Mozilla Firefox.

How can I fix the problem of simply logging on?

I have cleared the cookies, I do not know what version of IE I should be trying to re-load, can anyone suggest any other browser that might work?

I can't register my product if I can't access the site.

I have been advised to send an email to register my product and get a serial number which I have done today, however if I can't log into the area where I need to register then I am no closer to a solution?

i know you said you cleared your ff cookies but because this problem is almost always caused by a cookie issue, make sure you cleared all your adobe.com cookies:

click tools>options>privacy>remove individual cookies and scroll to the adobe.com folder (which may contain a number of cookies) and delete that folder.  then remove all the folders that start with adobe which may have obvious names like adobe dot something or other but also include names like adobeid dot something.

delete all those likely looking suspects and then retry logging-in.

Thank you kglad, I didn't know about deleting individual folders such as the adobe.com folder, you have managed to get me past the hanging sign on page. Now I have to wait for Adobe to catch up to my email and I will see if  I can finally register my product.

Thank you once again. Most helpful.
