Correct answer aleksiralda

Man, I had this error, I realized that one plugin is the problem, in my case was CinemaGrade.bundle, I guess is not compatible with 2020 version.

In mac, follow this path:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

Move one asset to new path (ie. Downloads Folder) and launch After Effects if Start Crashing again, move another.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I see that After Effects is crashing when you try to launch it.

A similar issue has been discussed on this community thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/ultimo-messaggio-registrato-lt-4561939904-gt-lt-ds-gt-lt-5-gt-gpu-sniffer-result-110-after-effects/m-p/10848682?page=1#M102763

Please try the suggestions mentioned and let us know if it helps.

Thanks,

Nishu

Thanks. However, I'm using a late 2011 macbook pro. MacOS High Sierra is the highest OS it's compatible with. In any case, I  doubt this is the fix as I'm running AE CC2018 on  my older laptop (mid-2009) with an older MACOS with no issues whatsoever.
