Can't get Adobe CS5 from a Dvd disk to open on my Mac
Hello All,
My old IMac broke down, so I now have a newer (IMac 27" 2013) one.
I have a disk for Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended (An old disk version).
I loaded it on to my computer and tried to open it up. It wouldn't no matter what I did.
I eventually got a notice that I had to: To open "CS5 service manager you need to install the legacy JAVA SE6 Runtime". I did this, but I still cannot upen up the program. Also, I am using the newer (2013) computer to install the program. Another point which may not matter is that I have a teacher edition and I sent the serial number to Adobe for this new installation.
Can anyone help?
Also, please keep the instructions simple, so that anyone can understand what you are advising me.
Thank you
