Question

can't get Photoshop to fit my laptop screen

I have the Creative Cloud and use Photoshop in two environments: my studio work space where I'm on a 27" iMac and my mobile work space where I'm on a 13" MacBook Air.

Things work and look fine on my iMac but on my MacBook Air I am not able to drag Photoshop's view to fit my screen which means I can not get to tools, palettes, etc. It essentially makes Photoshop unusable in my mobile environment.

I'm a longtime Photoshop user and cna not find any way to drag the Photoshop window smaller to fit my screen. HELP!

Problem solved! It's literally as simple as hitting the + icon in the upper left hand corner of PS. Automatically fills your screen, whatever the dimensions. Of COURSE it would be that simple!

This had bugged me for sol long that I gave up, relegating it to 'not important enough to lose sleep over'.

Thanks, Studio1143, you utter genius.

A first generation MBA does not meet the system requirements for screen resolution. That is totally expected and you should actually never have been able to even install PS then... Otherwise you may simply need to adjust the screen settings of your system.
