This post aims to clarify the most frequently asked questions around canceling Adobe subscriptions to help you better understand how it works.


1. How can I cancel my Creative Cloud subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Adobe account page

2. Can I temporarily suspend my subscription?

No, Adobe does not offer a pause or suspension option. You’ll need to cancel and re-subscribe when needed.

3. What happens to my files and storage after cancellation?

After cancellation:

  • Your account switches to a free membership.
  • You retain access to your files, but storage is limited to 2 GB.
  • You lose access to premium apps and services.

4. How do I delete my Adobe account?

Before deleting:

  • Ensure you have no active subscriptions.
  • Understand that deletion is permanent and you’ll lose access to all cloud files.

Yes, but only if you cancel within the first 14 days of the billing cycle(including trial). 

2. How long does it take to receive a refund after cancelling a subscription?

Refunds typically take 12-14 business days to process, but it may take longer for the funds to appear in your bank account depending on your payment method and bank processing times.

3. Am I eligible for a refund if I cancel my subscription after the 14-day window?

  • Within 14 days(including trial): Full refund. It usually takes 12-14 business days for the refund to process.
  • After 14 days: No refund, and if you're on an Annual Plan (Paid Monthly), you’ll be charged early termination fees.
