Changing/upgrading from individual plan to student/teacher plan

I currently have a subscription to Lightroom and Photoshop and I want to upgrade to Creative Cloud as a teacher. My current plan does not list me as a teacher. Is it possible to change this status when upgrading?

I have tried buying Creative Cloud for teachers. I then get a message that there is a conflict because I'm already subscribed to Creative Cloud Photography plan and offers an upgrade. When I select the link to upgrade there is no option for buying the student teacher version at the discounted price. Do I have to cancel my current subscription and start again?

Yes, if you don't have the option to upgrade you will have to cancel the subscription.
