Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool fails to remove folders. Cannot install Creative Cloud

Hi, I am attempting to reinstall Creative Cloud on a machine on a managed network. Creative Cloud was originally installed an working until a user attempted to update or install an additional application. We have tried numerous potential solutions found on the forums to no avail. The Cleaner Tool log indicates certain folders were  unable to be deleted.

We uninstalled every Creative Cloud and Creative Suite application

We ran the Set-up.exe as admin
We ran the cleaner tool from the command prompt as admin while logged in as admin.
We manually deleted the OOBE folders as well as the AdobePatchFiles folder found in Program Files (x86).
AcroTray process was killed.

Each time the installation process fails at seemingly the same point with error 201. The connection is wired and stable.

This is unbelievably frustrating.

The very important thing is that Adobe Creative Cloud under C: Program Files(x86) > Adobe  must be removed .

If unable to remove  , rename it to Adobe Creative Cloud-old.

Error 201 , is caused  not only due to remnant files or folders , it is also caused due to network issues .

You got to check with both .

As you are on managed network , I assume you cannot set LAN settings to detect proxy settings automatically or disable Firewall.

However , you may check with Adobe ports , and if they are blacklisted or restricted , you may add exceptions for the same.

Let me know if you need Adobe ports combinations.

Thank you for your responses. I was able to delete the Adobe Creative Cloud folder before i attempted the last install. Our firewall appears to have been blocking URL path:/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/win32/packages/ACCC_3_0_1_ADS_88/ADS.zip because the name contained the character sequence "ads" and it thought that it was an advertisement. I will let you know if allowing access to this URL fixes the problem. Else, I will try to install from the direct installer.

Sure thing , feel free to post if you face any issue .

Make sure to add the Adobe ports to exceptions list and then try to download , it should work.
