To Brucgonn anybody else it concerns! I've done a-lot reading on this in both Adobe & Apple Forums and rebuilt my system last 3 days and answer for this is very simple! I'm running a 21" 4K Retina Mac El Capitan 11.4 in 64 bit mode. Goto : Applications / Utilities / Adobe Creative Cloud / ACC/ Creative Cloud.app the "Get Info" and chance for the App to "Open in Low Resolution". "THIS FIX'S THE PROBLEM"! It now opens and icon is on my upper right side menu bar.

Adobe need to add to their support web page for Creative Cloud Manager Download Page . That if you running a Mac in High Resolution (Retina in 4K or 5K ) You need to goto the Creative Cloud.app the and change the App to open in Low Resolution. Or when the App installs it looks to see what kind a Mac your running and change the App to open in correct mode.

Check whether the cloud icon appears on the menu bar for seconds and disappears when you double click on Adobe Creative Cloud icon from Applications folder ??

Or

nothing is happening when you double click on Adobe Creative Cloud icon ?

No It does not show up briefly at all! Have try launch it from App. in the utilities folder nothing happens. Have done the following:

1) Uninstall CC5 Completely

2) Remove all old CC5 app's Pref files.

3) Deleted the "OOBE" file from. \Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE

4) Used Adobe : AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.  and clean everything remaining

5) Restarted Computer

6) re-installed Creative Cloud Manager.app

(noted: Ive done this process twice now. )

The App simply does not run at all.

Even try creating a new user account  and does not run there either.
