Question

How do I download and install my purchased Adobe Acrobat X Pro on my Macbook Air?

A year or so ago, I purchased Adobe Acrobat X Pro for Mac.  I have the DVD in my possession with all product/licence numbers/codes.

I wish to download and install Acrobat on my Macbook Air, which does not have a DVD drive. I hoped to download Acrobat on Adobe's website and provide my product and licence numbers if required. Please assist. PS: I have two Macbook Pro's plus the said Macbook Air.  I wish to uninstall Acrobat from my old Macbook Pro (if this is required) and install it on the Macbook Air so that I will then have it on two of my computers.

Chances are you will need to copy the installation files from your disc to some other media that your machine is capable of utilizing.  There is no resource I know of for downloading Acrobat X Pro for the Mac OS.  There is only one for Windows that I know of available thru http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-download-links-ddl.html

You do not need to uninstall from the older machine but you will need to disable its use by deactivating it (Help -> Deactivate) before you will be able to successfully activate another installation of the software elsewhere.

    Hi Ned

    Thanks for your email.

Prior to receiving your email, I contacted Adobe Customer Support through their "Live chat" option. They were very helpful. I provided my serial number and they provided me with a link to the website from where I could download and install Adobe Acrobat X Pro on my Macbook Air.

    Regards
