How do I fix error code 5 on installation of CS5

I am trying to finish my CS5 installation on my laptop, and it will not allow me to complete it because of "error code 5" I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it 3 different times, to no avail.

    Clykrayz from your screen shot it appears you are copying a lot of files to your documents folder.  Did you also copy over your installation of Creative Suite 5 or did you reinstall from your installation media/files?

    Yeah I have seen that thread, but the difference here is I am not trying to open files on an existing and functioning version of indesign: I am trying to install a brand new version of indesign CS5 and the rest of the CS5 suite onto my laptop. I am getting error code 5 as an installation error, not a file reading error or file corruption error.

    then you should check your installation logs to identify the problem, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC
