How to update/reinstall Adobe Application Manager?

New Here ,
Aug 12, 2013 Aug 12, 2013

I have the Photoshop CS6 program, and I went to download the free trial, and the Application Manager opened up, finished the download, only to end with a pop-up box saying that "Adobe Application Manager failed to install". There was also a message that came up that said "Adobe Application Manager is corrupted and must be reinstalled". Not sure what to do here, someone help me out please?

Please update Abobe Application Manager manually from adobe website and restart the machine. Try the installation after that.

To my extreme surprise, I was not able to solve update errors with different codes etc.  With different methods suggested by Microsoft as well Adobe community.

Well I have adobe production premium CS6 installed on my MSI GT70 0ND laptop. By default Adobe, while updating installs adobe creative cloud panel, which gives option to update and try new software's from Adobe . I just did not need cloud panel and I uninstalled it. And disaster struck. I could not install any of updates of windows or adobe. I reformatted my msi reinstalled all windows 8. No way. Finally reinstalled adobe production premium with cloud it is all back to work as it should. Moral of story do not uninstall adobe creative cloud if you are using any of adobe products. My experience may not apply to other software users
