iMac 27" 5k 2017 Slow Adobe CC Apps

Hi, yesterday I bought a brand new baseline 2017 27" 5k iMac running 10.13.4, i5 3,4ghz, 8gb, Radeon Pro 570, 1TB Fusion Drive

I have a problem with Adobe CC apps, especially Illustrator and Photoshop, panning and scrolling around the page is laggy, which didn't occur in my previous, lower spec'd PC, I am running the latest cc 2018 apps, any ideas on fixing this ? I have already tried CS6 versions, and it's the same.

Thanks, Jacob

I can relate to that, it is very annoying.

I have the same problem with MacBook pro mid 2012.

Usually I resolve the problem by changing the view from GPU preview to preview on CPU.

Maybe, it is a problem with the GPU drive.

This still didn't do the trick, if I had to describe the type of lag, zooming in while scrubbing with the zoom tool feels more like 24fps rather than 60fps if that makes sense, the same thing with panning around
