Indesign Cs3 install

Hello all

I am trying to get  indesign CS3 to work on my mac after i installed a new harddrive it keeps asking for a serial number i thought it auto activated with my creative cloud account. I've tried Adobe helpdesk but they just keep asking for my serial number wich

I've tried Adobe helpdesk but they just keep asking for my serial number wich i don't have as the installer is from a download from thier site and sugested someone on the forums might be able to help

I only need CS3 for a small job that a client insists must be done in CS3 and you can only backsave to CS4 from Indesign CC 2015

any help or ideas would be really appriciated

    if you only need cs3 for a 'small' job, use the 30day trial to finish your job.

    if you need longer than that, you'll need to purchase a cs3 license (which adobe no longer sells, but can be purchased from a 3rd party).

    I am sorry CS 3 is not a part of CC subscription. CC license wont applies to CS 3 version .

    Only CS 6 version is a part of CC subscription from Suite products category.

    Hello thanks for the suggestion and help i tried that but the 30 day trial version expired after 3 days, bit wierd.

    also it used to work fine without asking for the serial number and also a colleague of mine who does work for the same client that insists in using Indesign CS3 has had no problems with it will have to do it in 4 maybe and backsave it

    in addition to using a cs4 trial, you can start another cs3 trial on another computer.
