New download of Flash Pro CS6, first attempted to install on a PC running Windows 7 64 bit. The installation got stuck and unresponsive at the "Installing AdobeHelp" stage (approx 30% into the install.

I then tried the install on a PC running Windows XP 32 bit and exactly the same thing happened.

I am unable to proceed further - anyone got any advice?

when your installation freezes, open your task manager>process and close the adobe help.  installation should proceed.

Thanks for the response, but no adobe help process present, just 3 instances of Adobe CEF Helper.exe*32 - which won't close - and 1 instance of AdobeIPCBroker.exe*32.

The only application present is Adobe Flash Professional CS6 - which when closed down aborts the whole installation.

OK, my response above was for the Windows 7 64 bit installation.

The advice to close the Adobe Help process was valid for the Windows XP 32 bit installation & installation is now complete.

I'll try a compatability install on the Windows 7 PC & see what happens.
