Installation stuck at "waiting"

I have tried to install Fireworks 3 times on my brand new Macbook Pro running El Capitan v 10.11.1. Creative Cloud gets to a certain point in installation and then just says "waiting".

This is a clean computer and this is the first thing that I have tried to install. Any suggestions?

Hi Angiec35189213,

You may want to review this help document to see if any of the troubleshooting steps resolve your stalled installation: Error downloading, installing, or updating Adobe Creative Cloud apps. In particular, review the sections on network connectivity and firewall configuration.

If none of these solutions works for you, let us know if you are receiving any specific error. You can analyze the log files to help pinpoint the root cause: Troubleshoot Adobe Creative Cloud install issues with log files. You can also try bypassing the issue via direct download as Kglad suggests.

if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  Adobe CC 2013 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2013 Release | ProDesignTools

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.

the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.
