Minor Version Downgrades (Premiere Pro CC 2018 12.1.2 - 12.0.1)

Hey folks,

I haven't been able to find my answer anywhere else, so here I am.

I'm an IT technician at an animation studio and have two editors working in Premiere on the same project; one of them is on Premiere CC 2018 12.0.1 and the other is on 12.1.2 - unfortunately, the more junior one is trying to use a feature that (they claim) is broken in 12.1, but working in 12.0 - exporting Final Cut Pro XML files.

I've looked everywhere for a downgrade path to 12.0.1, but it looks like the Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't maintain older versions for point / incremental updates, just major versions. Currently, I'm trying to convince both of them to upgrade to 13, but they're both digging their heels in.

Any help (advice about the XML, download links to 12.0.1, advice on downgrading) would be appreciated!

for help about premiere pro (xml files or otherwise), post in the premiere pro forum.

updates for premiere pro cc 2018 are not make available by adobe (for reasons unknown to me). you can get older major versions and minor updates to cc 2015 and older.

note: newer os'es (especially mac os'es) are not compatible with older programs (especially adobe's). this may help you start your installation, https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/macos-high-sierra-compatibility.html that said, you can download the installation files using the below link.
