Hello,
I'm trying to get Adobe Premiere and Adobe Audition to fully function on my Windows 10 laptop, but I can't seem to make it work.
The programs start and I can work with them, but still have a few problems.
When I try to import a .mov file into Audition, an alert pops up:
Error: This file is not supported by libsndfile. Code: 21. File contains data in an unknown format.
In Premiere the problem is almost the same. When I try to import a .mov file, it says the file is not supported.
I have downloaded a wmvcore.dll file and put it on my laptop. I don't have Windows Media Player and I can't download it.
Help!
Move files are container files for different CODECS. It depends on the CODEC if the data can be read. With Windows 10 and Premiere CC 2018, however, I've never had problems with standard files.
Where does your mov file comes from?

Yeah, that's been finicky for a while with Premiere, at least for importing.
