Old Creative Suite Premium can't activate
Hi,
I did run my old Creative Suite Premium in a perfect way on my Mac with High Sierra as operation system.
Maybe every 50 days one crash, but that was no problem.
Now my hard disk failed, I had to bring a new one in... And I'm putting all the programs back on, also the Creative Suite.
I managed, don't ask me how, .... and now comes the problem.
I can choose between the 30 day trial or activate it.
I try to activate it with my original serial code, but it doesn't take this code anymore.
So I contacted Adobe, which say the servers for activating "these old programs" are taken off... So I CANNOT activate it anymore.
Strange, I paid over 1000 dollar to own these programs, and I cannot activate my OWN program anymore?
They gave me instead a download link towards the 2 version, with an activation serial which should work, but the computer does NOT want to install this version.
So it installs to older version without problems, while the "newer" one is refused.
Can onyone help me out with this problem?
Thank you,
Johan
Ps. I think if you own a serial, at least that serial should work the rest of your life. I don't discuss the fact if a program should be updated or is not working on newer os-versions, I just say if you buy something, this should be YOURS for the rest of your life. Right? Because in this way, MY programs would also not be able to wok anymore on Snow Leopard or older, just because the "old- serial-servers" are taken offline.
