Photoshop Elements 2.0 & Windows 8

I'm using elements 2.0 and have just upgraded to windows 8 which says that elements has compatibility issues.

I've tried running it in XP mode but still have problems.

Is there a patch to make it compatible?

If not, must I upgrade & if so, what is that cost?

Elements 2.0 does all that I need.

Thanks!

there is no (and will not be an) adobe patch.  either compatibility mode (might need earlier than xp) will work or you need to upgrade.

here's upgrade pricing, http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/buying-guide.displayTab3.html
