I teach photography at our local community college. Plans were just announced to utilize distance learning until the end of the semester because of the Corona virus outbreak. Since the lab computer licenses for Creative Cloud are non transferrable, how about extending the trial for the Photoshop/Lightroom bundle to allow my students to install on their home computers for 60-days of use? Many of my students can't afford to pay. With 11 Billion in revenue, I do hope you will consider stepping up.
We are ALL in this together.
Thank You.

Hi,
It would not be a bad idea, however, review the licensing scheme, to see if it has an option by name, to place it on a number of users, but it depends on what was purchased.

Creative Cloud trials have been 7 days for a long time.
Student pricing for eligible students should allow most students to subscribe for the duration of their courses.
Adobe has called time on students using trial software at home to complete their courses.

Hi Davida,
Since your college has device licences, you should have an account manager who can add/remove/renew licences for you.
That should be your first point of contact, so (s)he can find a solution for you.
If you don't know your account manager, please contact our Customer Service to find out: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

I would welcome such a move as well.
Adobe could allow students to use the Adobe apps for a period of 60 days understanding that they need to complete their semesters without getting a chance to study at college premises.
You could contact the manager who provided the licenses for your community college systems.

In addition to the responses given above, you might also want to submit your feedback & make such a request directly to Adobe themselves via these two channels:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
It may be a worthwhile consideration for all users, given the worldwide disruptions that are ensuing.

Other companies are leading the charge on this. I would think Adobe would want to be one of them!?

This is a user-to-user forum, not a direct pipeline to Adobe.
IMO, your school should contact their software supplier about making Photoshop, etc... available to off campus students who require it for their coursework.

Just picked this snippet up on the Adobe grapevine:
"Adobe will be making an announcement later this evening in response to student software access at home during this time."

Adobe just posted more information and details here:

Big thanks to RC Concepcion for helping make this happen!
