PS CS2 activation

New Here ,
Sep 10, 2015 Sep 10, 2015

I just purchased Photoshop CS2 and it will not activate.  Is it because it is no longer supported or will it lock me out after 30 days?

Hi romani1519118,

Adobe Photoshop CS2 activation servers have been shut down.

You can use the below link to get the download link and the generic serial key for Photoshop CS2 :

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html

This page might be temporarily down so, you can wait for a couple of hours and access it them to get your serial key.

Regards,

Chetna

all support leads me to the same webpage...I follow the directions , but nothing!!

Please help me...pleeeeeease!!!

Hi Roni,

I would suggest you to uninstall it and then, reinstall it from this link :

Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products

and use the serial key mentioned in that link to license the program.

Hi Chetna,

I uninstalled, reinstalled, entered 1045-1412-5685-1654-6343-1431 (the new serial number) and it's still giving me a message saying that is not a valid serial number.

I hope you can help!!!

Hi again,....the saga continues.....

I reinstalled it using the link....but I can't open it!  And somewhere in my searching for the correct button or file, there was a notice that I needed to activate. where is that window if I can't even open the program for it to pop up?

When I click on what I think is the right one I just get a list of files and folders (within PS CS2)....which one will just OPEN the program?

When I installed it, it told me I couldn't save it where it wanted to...I needed to save it in a diff. location.

(I saved it on

C:Program Files(x86) > Adobe > Adobe PS CS2.....then what do I choose?

OR is this the one:

C; PhSp_CS2_UE_Ret???  If so, then what do I choose to open it?

It's installed, I just can't open it....no shortcut...nothing on desktop.

Thank you, Chetna!!

Hi Chetna....OK, I found the .EXE file...opened PS, but a window popped up saying:

"Your Adobe Photoshop user name, organization or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must exit now."

So, I have to click OK and then Photoshop closes down!!  Waaah!!

So, how can I edit the info?  Where is this info??

Thank you AGAIN!!

Roni
