Reinstall Ps Extended CS6?

New Here ,
Aug 03, 2013 Aug 03, 2013

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Extended CS6 Win UE (Student Teacher Edition) in March and have successfully installed it.

I want to rebuild my computer and reinstall the OS (Windows 7).  I understand I will have to reinstall all my programs, however, I no longer have the install file for CS6.

Two questions:

1) Can you point me to where I can download this file?  If I go to:

http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html

and click on "Photoshop CS5, Photoshop CS6 extended", then click on English> Windows> File 1 of 2 I get this error:

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/13/win32/Photoshop_13_LS16.7z" on this server.

Reference #18.1eb7dc18.1375536324.104baa4

2) Once I download this file, rebuild my computer, and reinstall Ps, will my original serial number work?

Thank you for your help!

1) if you follow all 7 steps you can dl a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html

and activate with your serial.

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

2) yes.  but deactivate your previous versions before uninstalling:  help>deactivate.

Thanks for your help!  One more question, please:

Are the two files for Photoshop CS6 on this page

http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html

the same as Photoshop Extended CS6?

I'm really not sure of the difference, if any.

Thanks again!

as explained at that link, "Note there is no separate trial download for Photoshop CS6 “Standard” – the trial is always the Extended version (having all Photoshop features including 3D and motion-based content), and then you decide which version you’d like to keep at time of product purchase."
