This is for anyone with a iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015) who is having troubles with macOS Sierra version 10.12.5 and using Illustrator 2017 CC and PhotoShop 2017 CC. I had to first install macOS Sierra Version 10.12.5 then reinstall PhotoShop and Illustrator 2017CC and any other Adobe products that are having trouble after installing 10.12.5 MacOS Sierra. Hope this helps someone. It's not the most elegant solution but it worked for me.

Hi,
I just saw this and you are totally right, after installing Sierra 10.12.5 my Photoshop program refused to work with the graphics processor. A new document would not show the artboard until I turned it off but then the program was so slow that I would never be able to use Photoshop. Uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have worked so I think I am going to go through my apps and reload them one at a time. I thought that Illustrator was acting a bit weird too so this is probably the issue. Thanks for posting this - I was getting worried!

Yea, at first I had to go back to an earlier Mac OS. I hated doing that! I am keeping a backup just in case. I have used apple and adobe products for a long time and this is the first time I almost thought I could not upgrade. ![]()
