What happens if I delete Creative Cloud

New Here ,
Nov 20, 2013 Nov 20, 2013

Hi,

I can't get passed the sign in screen for Creative Cloud, Support Advisor says there's nothing wrong, and I can't access any programs.

If I uninstall Creative Cloud, do I lose all the programs?

Any help would be greatfully appreciated

Ta

Giles

Hi Gilesyhalton,

I have already answered your query on your other post. http://forums.adobe.com/message/5857687#5857687

I suppose by uninstalling Creative Cloud you mean CC desktop app. No, your CC programs will stay on the machine even after uninstalling CC desktop app. However, CC desktop app will be required for various other purposes as well including product updates.

If you want to uninstall CC desktop app, you can run it's uninstaller from

Win : Control Panel > Programs and Features

Mac :  /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers

Let me know in case you still face any issues.

Cheers!

Arpit

What if CC won't uninstall?  I need to updated CC so I can download new programs, but the update does nothing.  A manual attempt to update gives me a "blocked by group policy...see administrator" error.  I get that same error when trying to uninstall.  My administrator couldn't figure out the issue either.

Thanks.
