I know those are there but I want a manual for offline reading. Is there not .pdfs we can download?

I don't want to shoot the messenge, and I do appreciate all the work that went into this new release, but I cannot believe that Adobe has released a major upgrade to the Production Premium Suite CS6 and is not providing PDF manuals on the CD's. I do have the full set that came with CS5 but you have made major changes. I do not believe for the money we have to spend to upgrade that you believe that help files are all we need. While I appreciate that on line hlp files are constantly updated, I don't believe they provide the same contextual view of the tools unless you have greatly improved help.

Robsbphotog@comcast.net if you can please review the link BGibStk provided in message #5.   The PDFs are going to be download and offline version of the current help files.  I do apologize for the inconvenience.  Are you facing difficulties accessing the currently available online help?

Jeff thanks for the response. I have no problems getting to the help files, This has been more of a situation of expecting PDF manuals as always supplied on the DVD after you stopped providing paper manuals in earlier additions, which by the way I prefer PDF’s. I have also been a bit frustrated due to the fact that some of the programs in the Suite will not run under my current video set up with includes both Intel graphics and Radeon 6970 GPU. Yet these same programs had no problems with this setup in CS5. Seems like we are regressing. Photoshop CS6 Extended 64 bit does run OK without problem but Premiere Pro does not.

I will review the link you provided. I have looked at the link about the video problem but find the solution disturbing as the CS6 Suite is the only SW on my computer that would require me to change my BIOS setting to disable the Intel graphics although programs are supposed to switch automatically to the GPU as needed. It is even more disturbing since CS5 does not have this problem. I am running a machine with 16 M of RAM Win 7 64 bit and an Intel i7 2600K processor.

    Sincerely,

    Robert Baldassano

Have you tried accessing the help within the Application itself?  We have been utilizing a cached copy of the help files for several versions now.
