We no longer seem to be able to de-activate/activate CS3 on our system. I've assumed it is to do with our network settings or firewall.
As an alternative I've looked at the long overdue replacement of our CS3 licences with CS6 but note that the system requirement in Service Pack 3 on XP.
Will it install and run on Service Pack 2?
Adobe has never supported 64-bit XP. You are trying to run software designed for XP-32 bit SP 3 on 64-bit XP SP 2. With Microsoft abandoning all support and updates for XP within months, it seems like a good time to upgrade. Trying to run the CS 6 software will be an exercise in hurt.

Thank you Romsinha, but I'd already looked there.
The problem is we have 64-bit XP on Service Pack 2.
I need to know if Design Standard CS6 will install on SP2 and if it does, what limitations exist?

Hi Simon_2013
We have performed limited testing of CS6 apps with XP service pack 2. I dont think you will get any installation issues however most of the apps may crash on launch. You may download the trial version of CS6 and test it on the XP SP2 machine before you purchase the software. The trial works for 30 days. However the recommended installation platform for XP is with SP3.
Please find the direct link to install CS6: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html .
Kindly follow the very important instruction before download.
