Corner Widget not showing up in Beta version

3.   Basic steps to reproduce the problem

             Use the Live Corner Widgets:
             Select your object.
             Choose the Direct Selection Tool (the white arrow, keyboard shortcut A).
             Click and drag one of the small circular widgets that appears near the corner.

4.  Expected result and actual result

              I expected the Corner Widet to show up.  Never does. 

              Looked at various instructions - tried them  all - nada.

Hello @John_Musgrove6304 thank you for sharing this. Though I have raised a ticket for this but I was not able to replicate this at my end. Will you please share a short video of this happening for more clarity?
