Adboe Illustrator UI scaling on 4k 32inch monitor

Hello,

As you might guess from the title, I have recently bought 32inch 4k BenQ PD3200U monitor hoping to increase productivity using it as an external monitor for MacBook Pro, as the laptop's screen is way too small.

The display itself looks really great but the problem is that Adobe Illustrator UI is super tiny and quite impossible to work with it at all.

So the question is, is there any way to increase UI size and keep the same crisp resolution, or it was just a huge mistake?

Any input will be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Martin

Finally found the solution to the problem.

For anyone wondering here is the solution:

To connect and have 60hz refresh rate you need DP to USB-C cable without any middle peripherals.

Now display is actually usable with Illustrator CC. You can scale up UI without losing crispness of 4k.

P.S. to anyone who is considering ever buying a peripheral monitor for a laptop, get a cooling pad or stand, its a must.

Thanks,

Martin
