I researched how to turn 2D shapes into 3D shapes. However, I was told to add different colors to my 3D shapes. How do you add or change the colors to your 3D shapes?

Here's the thing. I already made a 2D version of it, but if you turned the 2D shape with the colors and then turned it into a 3D after the process, can you change or add colors to the exact spots you want them?

You can apply artwork to a 3D object. Make them as symbol in Window > Symbols

And then it's easiest done with the Classic 3D effects
