Adding a column break in a text area?

Contributor ,

OK. So, I can't find a way to add a column break for a text area set in two columns.

I can only add forced line breaks from the Type > Insert Break Character menu.

Is it like a Zelda quest to find the key to unlock it?

Does anybody know?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, Illustrator still does not provide column breaks ...

The common workaround to mimic it is to use a non-filled / non-stroked rectangle and make a text wrap.
