Adjust corners

 How do I make the little round points to appear consistently to adjust corners, sometimes they come up when I press the command button (on macos) and sometimes they don't.

Could you perhaps upload an example where they do not appear on all vorners. There are several options. One of them being that there are 2 points on top of each other. Or the path not closed.
