Adobe illustrator 2024 bug/error (Dialog box closing)

Hi, guys! My Adobe Illustrator, even updated, has this bug where the dialog boxes, settings, edit menu, are closing by themselves. I'm using a win10 PC, everything is up to date. I've completely removed and installed Creative cloud desk and I still can't resolve it. Has anyone ever experienced this? Do you have any ideas or solutions for this error? Thanks

Olá gente! Meu Adobe Illustrator, mesmo atualizado, está com esse bug onde as caixas de dialogo, configurações, menu editar, estão fechando sozinho. Estou usando pc win10, está tudo atualizado. Já removi e instalei completamente o Creative cloud desk e ainda assim não consigo resolver. Alguém já passou por isso? Tem alguma ideia ou solução pra esse erro? Obrigado

I've moved your post from Photoshop to Illustrator for you.

Try resetting Preferences, which is not the same as uninstall/install. Go to Preferences menu > General > Reset Preferences.

Is your enter key stuck?

Are you using any peripherals?

In addition to the Enter/Return key, it could be your Escape key. Everytime I've seen this happen (a dozen times in 35 years) the user has had a book or something lying on the Escape key. It's worth checking.

But one thing I've already noticed may be related to the Edge browser and its open tabs. But it's a shame about the problem.

Browsers have been known to take over shortcuts in other applications.

To test, try this: reboot > relaunch only Illustrator and no other applications

Does everything work now?

Yes, it's a shame that the manufacturers don't care how their browsers behave on your system eating up memory and taking over the clipboard and the shortcuts. Report it to them.

olá, eu estava com esse problema, porque instalei o plugin do MONOTYPE FONTS, foi só remover ele, voltou a funcionar 

perfeitamente...

esse foi o meu caso
