Adobe Illustrator 2025 crashes when trying to export jpegs

Is anyone else having this issue  - when they try to export artboards into jpeg or png format? I just get the blue spinning wheel of death. Anyone?

Would you mind sharing more details, like the OS version, if Illustrator behaves this way with all files, or when exporting to a specific folder (removable/network drive or cloud-synced folder like Google Drive, etc.), so I can better assist you?

Also, try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and share your observations.

yes same issue on PC whenever I try to export selection or entire aic file

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Since you mentioned .aic files, it looks like you're working with cloud documents. Could you try saving the file to your desktop first and then exporting the JPEG to a local folder (Desktop/ Downloads etc.)?
