First I would turn off "Save in background" in the Illustrator preferences. Then try if it helped.
Save only in unsynchronized local folders. Does it help?

2. Try creating a new user account on your machine: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account-in-windows-...
