Adobe Illustrator Error Code

Hi Guys,

Has anyone come across this error code:

Can't open the illustration. The file is locked or in use. 1d: -54

A company was trying to open the files I had sent to them which are Adobe Illustrator CS6.eps (saved down from CC 2017), thanks.

Try and first ZIP it, then send.

I had zipped all the files and sent via We transfer. I have no problems as I am using CC 2017. its the end user that is having the problem, thanks.

It means 'The file is corrupted', just found out from Adobe eventually!

What application (and version) are they using to try to open it?
