Hi Guys,

I have installed Adobe illustrator CS6 version 16.0 in my machine and while clicking on Adobe illustrator help option it is throwing the below error.

Can anyone help me in how to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance

Are there perhaps Firewall settings preventing Illustrator from accessing this?

Is anything else working?

If that is the case and only help is behaving strangely, you can also just go to Illustrator Help | Illustrator User Guide to access help. You can also access it in your own language.

To use it in another language, edit the URL

https:// helpx. adobe. com/[insert language here]/ illustrator/ user-guide.html

(I have added some spaces here to prevent it from being converted)

Your language needs to be in the 2-letter form like: it, fr, de, nl .... etc.

no,it is for sure that it is not firewall issue.

as other adobe applications are working in the environment.

And as you have suggested to go to the illustrator help page i didn't find related to the help option where i can fix the issue.

can you help me with this.

On the Help page you won't find the issue.

But instead of going to the Help menu, you can just use it in your browser, because that is what Illustrator would do anyway.

You're using a fairly old version of Illustrator on a very new OS. I'm not saying that this is the issue, but it could have something to do with it. Have you tried searching or asking for a solution to your original question here on the forums?
