I tried exporting with trim marks and it's taking me file from 50mmWx 40mmH to 73.3mmW x 63.3mmH when adding 3mm bleed.
I had to manually add the bleed marks for a print file today. Anyone have any fixes?

That's because the trim markls themselves are so large. The size increase is just the media size.
Do you really need trim marks? A print service that has a proper PDF workflow in place will not need them, because they can get the info from the file and use that to create their own marks in their software.
