Ai 2019 does not support Windows 8.1

I looked at the Illustrator system requirements Adobe Illustrator system requirements . I can't tell if it means just Windows 7 w/Service Pack 1 and Windows 10 (with the exception of the noted versions) or everything in between. But I did see this note on Windows 8.1 compatibility Windows 8.1 compatibility FAQ , which leads me to believe it should be supported. Maybe check the rest of the system requirements to make sure your setup meets the minimum requirements. If you're still having issues, you can report a bug here Adobe Illustrator Feedback .

Windows 8.1 Is being abandoned fast as it has fallen to 5% of market share, much the same as XP.

Adobe just blocks the installation of Ai 2019 on Windows 8.1, if you install it on Windows 7 then Upgrade to 8.0 and then Upgrade to 8.1 it will run.
