As I can see you are using Illustrator version 22 with Mojave and possibly older driver version of Wacom. Illustrator CC 22 is not compatible with Mojave, please refer to system requirements for Version 22.0

SOLUTION

  1. Update Illustrator to 23.0 (released on 15-Oct-2018)
  2. Update Wacom drivers to the 6.3.31+ - more info Wacom Customer Support | Wacom

Which version?

Which system?

Has this ever worked?

When was your last computer restart?

Does it work when you increase the size of the brush?

There are still issues with Mojave and this might be one of them.

After a system update it might be needed to uninstall and reinstall Illustrator. It has been the case in other versions, but we have no deeper experience as of now.

It might help to reset preferences. If you want to try that, try by renaming the folder. That way if it doesn not help you can return to your preferences. How to set preferences in Illustrator
