Good morning,
I’m sending this email, because I’m trying to open a file with 100MB, and appears a warming saying that Adobe Illustrator "could only partially read this file" and does not open the file with all content.
Can you please help figure out the issue?
Many Thanks,
Mariana Quintela

Illustrator could not open this file.
We tried to read it, but it is too damaged to recover.
Help us figure out what happened by emailing this file to file@adobe.com

Hi @Central Graphic,
Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear you're running into this issue when trying to open your file.
Could you please confirm which version of Illustrator you're currently using and the operating system details (Mac/Windows + version)? Also, if you remember, which Illustrator version was used to originally create the affected file?
In the meantime, please try placing the affected file into a new Illustrator document using File > Place instead of opening it directly, and let us know if it still shows the same error or behaves differently.
It would also help if you could share the problematic file with us. You can upload it to any public cloud storage service like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., and share the downloadable link here. If the file contains confidential content, feel free to send the link via DM on the community.
Looking forward to your update.
Abhishek

It might be worth trying to open the file in the previous version of Illustrator or the Beta build of Illustrator. A computer can have more than one installation of Illustrator.
