Good day.

Having a problem or feature request maybe i not know of such function the thing i try to do you can see in my photo, if i drag this group up they are placed where i need to coincide with image but each of that object are reshaped, i know i can select a row and move each slowly up but that takes time.

Is there something in settings i must disable or enable?

Also is is possible somehow to move or reshape for example you see numbers at Y: 550.624 px and if i hold CTRL move mouse wheel it becomes 550.7 px i would like to move at a very small phase so it will be 550.625 px is it possible this in AI? I need this also for text and other things that it happen by small numbers and if i need to switch back so there will be 550.6, 550.62 and 550.625 for movement, scale etc, so i will not have to type this small parameters and press enter but by using some button and mouse wheel.

Thank you for any help.iPhone 7 Plus Top Logic Board Side.pdf_ @ 800% (RGB_GPU Preview) 22.12.2017 18_54_52.png

If your cursor is focused on the artboard, and all of the anchor points are selected, there should not be any reshaping. If your cursor is focused in a panel, such as the Properties panel, reshaping can take place. If your cursor is focused in a panel, you can hit the ESC key or click on the artboard to refocus on the artboard.

This is not possible to do with the mouse wheel because the increment is too small.

I agree with Barbara that you can't change the increment that small, but you can change it smaller than the default. If it's still at 1pt, change it to two decimals: .01pt. Using Shift will make it be larger increments, but there is nothing for smaller.

And yet, the Control panel goes to three decimals.

So put in a feature request and post a link to it so we can vote on it!

Between thank you for pointing this out i did not know it effects keyboard movement by arrows, this will help me now will be easier to move different things at small increment.

If they are changing shape, then check to see if all of the anchor points are selected.

An odd "feature" in Illustrator is that when you switch from the Direct Selection tool to the Selection tool or vice versa, you need to deselect and select with the new tool.

They shouldn't change shape if all of the anchor points are selected.

Try this with one shape and see if that is what's going on.

Yes all anchor points are selected, my problem is that pads of this Chip at the bottom are aligned but as it goes up they are not aligned with image pads so i select them with direct selection tool but there is no small white squares on the selected group i must hold CTRL and they appear so i can drag, basically i am reshaping whole group vertically and when doing this the size of each shape are changed and moved up in same time aligning them as i need but with reshaping effect, i was looking to disable this effect but not found.
