All Group cancelled when opening dxf files

I grouped all in cad. But when I open it on AI, all groups were cancelled. I have to re-group them again. But the dxf file works on old version of AI. Is anything wrong with my settings? How to fix this?

Thank you so much for your reply. The software I used to conbine all drawings into one file:

When using this version of AI to open the file, all drawings were grouped individually.

1000009888.jpg

But when I use this version, all group cancelled.

We handles cloth drawings and we usually pile up all sizes together. If group function not working, we can't separate each size. Any way to achieve this?
