When using Asset Export in Illustrator to generate logo files, I've specified three widths: 1024px, 2048px, 4096px. However, when I look at the final exports, the widths are 1px off: 1025px, 2049px, 4097px.
What's up with that?

Noticed the same. Enter 1023 for width and you should get 1024.
I only got one file (the 1024) instead of two even though i had this. Any idea?

Such an easy and obvious answer! LOL! Why didn't I think of that?! Thanks. I just went through and created a complicated workflow in Photoshop to do it instead. Wished I'd read this earlier. Hah.
With regards to not getting the second file, did you hit Return to commit that scale? Maybe that was it?

Hi Lunarboy,
Yes I am the best at easy and obvious. Well atleast in the future you can use that. Will try to let a few at Adobe know about this as this.
My problem with only getting one file was that I had the same name for Suffix, as I assumed the Asset export would be smart enough to add a suffix like 1024px.

I had the same problem initially. It really works for square but not for rectangle. The solution is exporting artboards instead of assets, you will get exact the same width as you put.
So if you are creating an app icon, make a custom artboard like 1024x1024. When you export the artboard in the end, you will get exact 1024x1024.
