Community Beginner ,

Hello,

When I export a SVG, all the colors are bland

Here is an example:

Why this is happening? How do we fix it?

Thank you!

So you may go to Edit > Assign Profile... and assign an sRGB profile.

That will give you the same colors that you see in your SVG file

To get more saturated colors you can correct it with Edit > Edit Colors > Saturate (or Recolor Artwork).

Check Edit > Color Settings... and have a look at your RGB working space.

If it is something else than sRGB you will get a color conversion.

Thank you for your response, but it is already in sRGB...

a spot color?

How's your document set up? RGB or CMYK?

Yes, Google Chrome, Safari and the preview with the space bar, it's all the same.

Also in Illustrator when reloaded.

I do not understand what you mean by "Also in Illustrator when reloaded"

The color that Illustrator saves in the SVG file is the Hex value you see in Illustrator's Color panel.

What I mean is that I save it in SVG, I close it and I reopen it. It's not the same color when I reopen it.

Your Before.ai has an Adobe RGB profile.

That explains the color shift.
