I've been designing for 11 yrs. Illustrator really hit my nerve that this app cost a lot but basic tools aren't applied like cad tools for how many years and you have to buy it separate. Wake up Adobe! It's already 2020, still greedieng your peolpe for years. I work with Photoshop, CAD, and Corel. For 11 years and this is the most stupid program ever made. The only advantage eI can get in illustrator is haveing a good gradient. That's it!

Just gradients? Really?
You should try the appearance panel. And live paint. And recolor artwork. And brushes. and so on.
And could you perhaps tell us what exactly does not work as expected for you?

In my line of job, I am more on Exterior designs part for commercial buildings and working on elevations, so these things you're telling me not my focus. Now, client uses illustrator and needed to the whole job in illustrator, which is a very time consuming work for me.
Everything that I can work PS, CAD and Corel for -30 minutes is taking me 1 hr on illustrator. Everything is messed up, no accurate scaling for large elevations. And do I really need to purchase that Cad Tools? I already own it but still this is supposed to be free and basic tool for vector based app. uhhh why does this app exist and brainwashing people that this is the so called "industry standard",

Which Corel? The Technical Suite?
Illustrator is not focusing around CAD.
So what you are referring to (what is it exactly? you're still kind of vague), doesn't necessarily fall into Illustrator's scope.

Every program has pros and cons, but we are here to help. I understand the need to vent, but posting an actaul questionwith screenshots will allow us to help you.
Illustrator has snapping when you turn on smart guides. You can use the transform palette for your dimensions. Teh preferences allow you to set what that snaps to simlar to autocad, but not as many options.
